01Our intention
Honest status
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Opinions has not yet been independently audited, so we do not claim full compliance.
02Keyboard navigation
Pages are built with standard links, buttons and form controls so they can be used with a keyboard.
03Screen-reader compatibility
We use semantic headings, landmarks and labels. Some animated visuals are decorative and hidden from assistive technology.
04Contrast
Our black-and-white design is chosen partly for strong contrast.
05Text scaling
Text can be enlarged using your browser’s zoom without losing content.
06Focus indicators
Interactive elements should show a visible focus state. Tell us where one is missing.
07Alternative text
Meaningful images have descriptions; decorative ones are marked as such. Profile pictures uploaded by users do not yet support custom alt text.
08Reduced motion
Where your device asks for reduced motion, some scrolling effects are simplified. We’re working to extend this across all animations.
09Captions and media
Opinions doesn’t currently host video or audio. If we add it, we’ll consider captions and transcripts.
10Reporting accessibility problems
Email us using the Contact button on your profile with the page and the problem. We’ll try to help, and can provide information in another format where possible.
